So here I am: glad to offer to you my company when in London, the company of a Londoner who is passionate about the place  where he lives…


Ah… First of all, a little introduction!: My name is JORDI BRIZ and I am originally from ESPLUGUES DE LLOBREGAT, a neighbouring town of BARCELONA.


And I arrived in the United Kingdom in 1995. I settled in London in 1996 and fell in love "at first sight" with this mega-city. My passion (travelling, exploring cities and villages) and my vocation of working always un the service industry, has led me to know London well and to enjoy telling others whatever or wherever I get to know, within the confines of this huge metropolis… that is, to become a guide.  

In other words, my work is my hobby.


So, I would love to help you turn your stay into an unforgettable, entertaining, enriching... human and cultural experience.
I would very much like that, with the help of my information, you would come to understand this city, and, even more, you would come to love it (and maybe that will encourage you to come back!).
And, why not, I'd like you to get to feel identified, to feel like a LONDONER for a few days !

Those of you who are art lovers, maybe will recognise this sculptural group...because of its style!. You will find in the BROADGATE area of the CITY, only a few yards away from LIVERPOOL STREET STATION.

Well, the FAMILY GROUP is a characteristic work of “ESPLUGUENC” sculptor XAVIER CORBERÓ, and you can visit his house and workshop, in Esplugues, no in London!.

By the way,  CORBERÓ introduced his friend ROBERT HUGUES to BARCELONA, thence this book

My Tours, that is: Your Tours 

I want you to EXPERIENCE the many neighbourhoods of London, and to breathe their ATMOSPHERE, to recognise their different characters, and to appreciate them. You will capture the ESSENCE OF LONDON!.

Can you imagine being able to spend a WHOLE DAY walking around with a LONDONER, who will tell you EVERYTHING THAT INTERESTS YOU, who, first, will come greet and MEET YOU and your family up at your hotel and who is going to take you to the NEIGHBOURHOODS YOU WANT TO VISIT, and EXPLORE them with you... taking you sometimes even to places where Londoners rarely go!.


In addition, I will help you to PLAN THE REST OF YOUR STAY. With ideas and suggestions for PLACES to visit, interesting attractions, places to eat and drink and to have a good time. So, I will also be your PRIVATE TOURIST INFORMATION OFFICE!.

I will make available to you BROCHURES and MAPS, produced by myself or by tourist boards or other organisations, especially SIMPLIFIED PUBLIC TRANSPORT maps, so that you can get to my places BY YOURSELF. And that way you will make the most of your stay!


What I would like is for you to get to know YOUR LONDON... and to do it AT YOUR OWN PACE AND MEASURE.


Precisely, that's why I'm asking you now:

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT LONDON?.
WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO?.                                                                           
WHAT ARE YOUR INTERESTS AND HOBBIES?.

Come on, bring your ideas and initiatives!

To be more specific: when you visit a city, do you like to visit the large national MUSEUMS, or do you prefer small, local or specialised ones?
Or, you don't like museums at all and prefer to spend time in the STREETS, admiring  the ARCHITECTURE, observing the PEOPLE, capturing the ATMOSPHERE or learning about the HISTORY and other aspects of the places you are visiting...

Would you like to mix with Londoners, in their neighbourhoods, where they live, where they work and where they have fun?.  Do you even want to talk to them?


And, speaking of neighbourhoods. Do you like the more built up areas, crowded at peak hours, the noise, the rush of people... like the CITY or the WEST END... or do you prefer the London Villages (yes, really... there used to be villages in the London area, which have absorbed into the metropolis!), where you will find more the atmosphere a provincial English town, and all greener and calmer.


Or you want to immerse yourself in Ethnic London, those areas with a high percentage of the population from far away and exotic places!. I mean, exotic for us…


Or… you are come looking for the most naturalistic London... its PARKS (the royal ones or the non-royal ones!) and other PROTECTED NATURAL SPACES (fantastic for the little ones!), the Thames, the Lea Valley, the Canals, the Urban Farms. .. Or even, maybe you want to practice some sport!.
Or you come for a bit SHOPPING!. You want to know which are the most elegant or fashionable areas, where the "celebrities" of the world and London shop... (I rarely see them, to be honest). 
Or, all the opposite: you want to know where the most popular and economical STREET MARKETS are... Or the outlets…

Or… do you want to experience London’s food!. From the best restaurants run by the most acclaimed chefs in the world, to PIE & MASH shops, to class places, or to the old "Italian" caffs greasy spoons?. 
What about gastronomical shops and FARMERS' MARKETS, where you will find products "made in London" (or somewhere very close!). Or street food markets…

And of course you want to know the MOST HISTORIC PUBS... And try a good fish and chips!

I and my passion would like to introduce you to all this and more. The most authentic, real London. 
And to round it up I will  help you with the purchase of TRANSPORT tickets  (OYSTER cards) and tickets for SHOWS and ATTRACTIONS, in obtaining a RENTAL CAR, or TRANSFERS TO or FROM THE AIRPORTS.

Needless to say that will give you information and assistance if you need (and I hope you don't!) MEDICAL SERVICES as well as CONSULAR.

You will see that there are tours to places a little further away from the central areas (but not that far) and to places that are not so visited:

Payment of the service takes place at the end of the tour. I am glad that I am surprising you

ALL DAY implies a duration of up to 10 HOURS. HALF DAY, about 5 HOURS. The HALF DAY price is HALF of the whole day, plus £10. The price of TWO HALF DAYS is the same as ONE WHOLE DAY. THEY MUST BE PAID SEPARATELY, if applicable: your PUBLIC TRANSPORT tickets, BIKE rental, your FOOD and DRINKS, and your TICKETS  or DONATIONS to attractions or museums.

I am a great lover of the streets of London!.

I don't mind spending all that amount of time in your and your family’s company!. Keep in mind, though, that our bodies will appreciate a mid morning break  and an afternoon one, for a cup of tea  and a good deal conversation. And we can have a nice lunch together, if you wish of course,  a lunch of your choice. From RULES to a park picnic, I’m not choosy!.
